Host was great, had a great weekend. Kids loved the house and all the games in the basement.

The Whitetail Lodge was perfect for our family. We gathered, cooked, laughed, played and hiked. And on our last night things got Tubular! The lodge was close to many trails and a few within walking distance. Walking our pups was easy. There were many walkers in the area and drivers used caution. We always felt safe.We were trying to get to Humpback Rocks via Blue Ridge Pkey but it was closed so we couldn’t make it. The West side of Blue Ridge Tunnel was a few more minutes up the road so we did that instead. A very cool engineering feat and historical treasure that has only been reopened since 2019. A must see!From my first inquiry, and through out our stay, the host was responsive and communication was clear and easy. The layout of the house made it comfortable to have many family members together during the holidays.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing! The space was perfect, the family agrees this was the best Thanksgiving ever! The host was in contact with us within minutes anytime we had any questions and the house was so clean. We are so happy!

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had. Our group of 10 (annual couples trip) had plenty of space, were able to enjoy the outdoors/firepit area, deck, and the variety of living area. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely plan another trip here.

Amazing house with so much to do! We loved the selection of games, the hot tub was perfect after spending the day out doors, and the outdoor fireplace was loved by all.
